Florian is a traditional Victorian house, built around 1885, over 4 floors, with car parking at the front and a south facing garden at the rear . This is ideal if visiting with young children, as adults can sit and relax while the children can play in the secure garden. 

I have been asked many times what Florian means. It is a man's name, used mainly in French and English speaking countries. It comes from the latin Flos or Floris, meaning 'flower'.  St Florian is the patron saint of Chimney Sweeps, Brewers and Firemen.

There are six bedrooms arranged on three floors. Five of the rooms are en-suite with one room having private shower room adjacent.  All have TV, fridge, hairdryer, alarm clock and tea/coffee tray

Breakfast is served in our sunny dining room, which is on the lower ground floor. There is a choice of fruit, cereal and yogurt, followed by a freshly cooked breakfast selected from the menu. This is accompanied by tea or coffee and toast with preserves. We have decaffeinated tea and coffee available along with fruit teas. Please let us know the night before if you require a Vegetarian or Vegan breakfast. Let us know at time of booking if you have deitary needs that we may need to shop for. i.e. soya milk, gluten free bread/biscuits. We will try to accommodate most requests.

The patio doors lead from the dining room to the garden. Guests are welcome to enjoy the south facing garden, and where you may smoke.
